hi, i just got a new DMS-400ST cube.

12.5 gallon
T5bulb 8Wx 4 PCS
WATER PUMP 10W, 550L/H (145GPH)

i got the tank today so next week im thinking of some corals, so i need some advice on what corals to look for. i dont want anything thats a chalange, i want something hardy. and i want soft coral, then later add 2 or 3 clowns?

i need all the advice i can get, im very new to salt water fish/coral!

I don't know about corals, but I think a 12 gal is too small for a pair of clowns. Maybe one would work, but 2 would be pushing it, from what I've read/heard. Maybe one clown and one other small fish, like a firefish or some type of blenny.
Hope this helps!

One fish would definately be better. But a week or two and your gonna be adding corals, that's no good, you should wait for your tank to cycle then you can add your clown, and a few weeks later add the corals. Unless the tank has already cured live rock in it then you might be able to get away with it, but post your water stats and let the people that are absolutely familiar with this stuff help you.

And I would have suggested a larger tank since you're new to marine setups, I have a 75 gallon and a lot of people have told me that that is the perfect size.

agreed, make sure your tank is cycled before you add anything live in there besides live rock.
