I'm so happy to hear that you're dragging your mom into the world of bettas You're both going to love it. If I can offer my opinion on the matter, make sure you're super choosy about what tankmates you put in your betta tank (if any). Don't get any fish that are fast or nippy or grumpy, they'll make your bettas nervous and they could tear up their finnage You don't want that. I hear cories go best wth bettas but they like lots of filtration, which your bettas won't like. So think about it, you may just keep your guys by themselves with maybe a cool apple snail.

Oooohh...I had been watching that one and was so tempted to make a try for it But I knew I couldn't afford it.Glad to see he will be going to a good home.That color is just awesome and I bet he is even better "in person".
