I wouldn't touch a Juwel heater with a 10 foot barge pole, I've been through 3 and they've all boiled my fish, all of them 100 watt heaters. Get yourself a Fluval E series when you can, because you won't regret it!

Give it a day or so and see if it heats up, using a thermometer.

haha, I kept getting lost on that snow mobile, the bridge one was good though, and the enemy waves.

I wouldn't ever buy a juwel heater or pump again, I've been through 3 100W heaters and 2 600LPH Pumps. Can't comment on the 200W models but I wouldn't trust it personally.

fluval arent the only good heaters out there.

I use interpet thermostat and theyre good, and so are elite

As said water esp winter time feels cool to the touch more so than in summer, my two foot tank does not have a heater and it reads 25c, i have ready if it drops but whats the point if the room is so warm it stays up there, yes i have even checked it 2-3am in the morning, it only drops 2c at most...
my heater in my jewul worked well for years<not needed now as have sub tropicals in there,only things peeves me is not having numbers to go by have to guess heat
