W00T!!!! Finally got my betta/cory set up, 1 (soon to be 3) gorgeous albino cory, & 1 very handsome cambodian betta (pearly white/pinkish body with bluish-green merging into redish-pink tail & fins
). Ooooh I'm so happy!!
Anyhoo, just wondering if it's normal for a male betta to be so dang placid?! He never bothers the cory, even nicely moves out of it's way when it comes too close; hasn't so much as lifted a fin let alone flare, even when I put a mirror next to the tank - just surveyed it with mild interest & turned around to look at me again!! He's such a sweety, eating out of my hand & everything but he doesn't swim around much.....normal behaviour? Probably, but just thought I should check.
Thanx all!!
Edit: Forgot to put a poll but any suggestions for names?? I'm thinking either Hudson or Walter, any thoughts?
Thanx again!

If he seems healthy otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it. I keep one my bettas with cories, and he does just fine with them. He doesn't bother them either, except for the occasional flare to "keep out of his way". Mine is definitely a peaceful one, I wouldn't keep cories with most of my other bettas. Sounds like yours is the same way.
