My schools weird. I think we get off so much is because (BTW, I go to a private school) 90% of the student population lives 20 minuets or further from school. And since it costs a pretty penny just to put the first payment down, most everybodys' parents both work. I'm lucky though, My dad only works. But then again, there are plenty of people in my class that live like 2 blocks away, so if worszt came to worse, they could walk.
So most parents dont have time to bring their kids in late, thus making the schoool to have a snowday. also, we cant have halfdays. Either its normal on time day, or its a snowday. Same as above. Anyways, I spend alot of tinme watching my fish and cleaning the tanks (Its so nice to watch your fish swim in a nice, clean environment.
We're too "prepared" as people from other states say, because we have a whole fleet of plows and an ocean's worth of salt.
