I have some swordtail fry and they are AWESOME. The mother was one of the black ones. It looks like someone sprayed a white swordtail with black. There are some places that are still white, and some that are lots of little black grains on white. The father is a normal red swordtail. Very beautiful though. The babies have the black but on red!!! The black makes up between 35 -90% of the body, starting at the head and moving back.
Only about 1/3 of them have it though. Has anyone ever seen swordtails like this? Either way I’m really excited for them to grow up.
