Woop! Got a new snake today :D

She's an 07 CB Royal Python :D. Unsexed, but i've decided she's a she.

I'll get pics up tomorrow if she wanders out her hide. :good:

I'd love one of those. never kept a snake but will some day
lookingforward to pics

very cool iv decided that the next snake im gonna get is either a pair of pastel ball python or maybe a ghost ball if i can save up enough...and start a project with them

I love snakes ( hence the name lol) i cant wait to get another snake, i want to get an albino burmese

I want A Snake So Bad, But all the LFS that sell them know my wife and they know she'd kill it.
So i will have to settle for rope fish, that is if i can find any that in my price range.

She is stunning  you lucky thing :good:

Great looking royal. Ive just had to give mine away due to needing room in the house. :/

Not sure if its your camera or not, but it does look like its about to sloth. Once this is about to happen the eyes will turn a milky colour. I wouldnt suggest trying to handle the snake at this time as they tend to strike at anything, as their eyes are not in use.

And another thing...... Dont be concerned if he/she doesnt eat for a while, royal's are known to be fussy eaters.

What are you feeding him/her on atm? just curious. :p

Aye, she's in blue atm :D she seems fine to handle though :D I just wanted some pics and now i'll have to restrain myself and not hold her for a few days lol :( she's a sweetie though.

She's on medium mice atm, apparently. looks to me like she should be on adults, but i'll see how she eats the mediums first :D

Ye, you'll be suprised...... I had a californian king snake (which i also had to get rid of) who ate adult rats, and he was only 3ft long, x 2inches wide.

No harm in trying.....as i said though royals are fussy eaters though.

Aww shes cute, i like her rustyness. Are they are few missing scales? if they are they will come back at her next shed (mine did). Also what is the humidity like with aspen? i have never used it so im not sure but royals do like a but of humidity, or they get RI and get dry skin.

She is a great snake, nice and fat (a good sign shes been eating). I hope she eats for you
