wouldn't they attack everything?

cause I was actually looking for a betta tank on ebay xD

also I think it might look a bit 'lost' in my tank as they're not very big and I cant get 2 or 3 of them xD

..or can i?

They should be fine with the fish you have in your sig. The only thing they don't like is other anabantoides i think such as Gourami's. People also warn of them being kept with fancy guppies due to their snazzy tails and fins etc.

Make a thread in the betta splendends section to see if they would get along with the Neons, Cory's, oto's and Mollies.

Tank is looking great with the new plants. What size is it? I would be looking for a something a bit more interesting than a betta as a centerpiece.

its a 180l

Ellioti is amazing looking fish.. just googled it ;P

I have a good few weeks off before i get my main fish.. ill just have to keep my eyes open... or just buy it off the internet.. dunno if I should trust them tho..

That's much more along line i would follow. Each to their own though.

Take your time. Any fish could be with you for years so having a good long think is always worth it.

Wish i listened to my own advice some times

Yeah I would say so, 2 will either end up in a breeding pair which would be a nightmare with aggressio, or them not getting along and fighting a lot of the time. Plus with one you appreciate it more.

quite like red parrot chillids as well... and I know my lfs has them in stock...

and there a nice orange colour to stand out in my tank =]

Cichlids**

But 1 website I just read says it can grow up to 20cm

Bit big for my tank j think xD

Its all down to personal preference mate, some are very nice but some are awful!

Male honduran red point? Female jade eyed?

Good general rule is that the fish should have a tank that is twice the fish length in depth at a complete minimum.
