I think it looks great, large cobbles in a larger tank looks awesum.

where did you get the eggcrate and what does it look like?im very confused on what eggcrate to get so if you have or can find a pic online,id love to see what to get.

Most building supply stores sell an egg-crate style louvre for recessed ceilings. Googled it. It cuts simply with metal snips. Around here we can get a 2 foot by 4 foot piece for around $12.

I've done something similar with flat rocks in a tank we are currently cycling. You should get some aquarium silicone and at least "glue" together the rocks on the top as we all know those fishies can be diggers! Try the silicone during your next water change (when the water is below the rocks). As they are wet, it may take a few tries to get it good and solid.

I got them from a landscape garden place.It supplies bark chips,rockery stones,ect.They were £5.30 for 25kg.
