New salt and pepper cory gang in my 18gal betta/shrimp tank.

I am so lucky with my betta. He just swam towards the bag, had a look and that was it. I knew he will be ok with other fish since he doesn't bother the shrimp at all but this is beyond my expectations. He might swim towards them but there is no aggression or chasing. I got 6 of them and the more I look at them the more I want to get more

Be very careful with that. He may not be exhibiting any aggressive behavior yet.

Just keep an eye on him and have a backup plan if things go for the worst.

I agree with @PheonixKingZ it's very early days and bettas can spontaneously switch

Yes, I already have a back-up plan just in case. They've been in there for almost 4 hours and everything looks normal.
