Yesterday I got 3 platys

1 male blue (I think, it was labelled blue at lfs but doesnt look like blue platys that ive looked up on internet, Id take a pic but hes already scared)
And 2 female Red Wagtail

But anyway, the entire of yesterday I didnt see them at all as they were hiding and they only came out breifly for tea today but soon vanished again. But tonight my two reds are out, though extremely edgy, and are eating brown algae off my plants (Is this normal?)

The real problem though is one of the red wagtails has stringy white poo, is this normal for a new fish or is it something more serious??

Thanks
Adam

Fish nibbling algae is fine, the stringy poo may be caused by internal paracites, stress from the move wont of helped :) Personly id recommend keeping the water in tip top and letting nature do the rest, others may dissagree.

Btw, incase you were unsure, you have just got yourself a platy breeding farm :) be prepared to deal with alot of fry.

Also the two red wags have like black markings on the top from around the top of their mouth to the top fin? Does this mean theyre a cross breed? Ill try to get pics up asap but I cant even get close to the tank without them running off to hide!!
