the garden centre is Brigg garden centre,it is on the bigby high road,brigg,north lincs. The phone number is 01652 650484.ask for aquatics
hubby says it will take you bout an hour from Leeds on M62,east to hull,then M18 the 2nd junction signposted s####horpe then onto M180 4th junction.if you know your way to s####horpe its easy


They have some great fish there,you can usually get lots of everything and if it isnt in then speak to pete or jim and they usually order it for you
Ive never had a problem with any of my fish from there

ill wait till im rid of a few more cons, maybe rehome the balas (anybody want 2 x 3"-4" balas) since i dnt have the space for them to shoal properly in there numbers.

then see if they can get me a bichir. not sure what type yet tho.......

Fab setup Sam - you're making me right jealous! We're on the lookout for a 5 x 2 x 2 in the next few months so if you hear of one going around your/our neck of the woods, giz a yell.

BTW we got our Royal from Paws For Thought in Leeds, and we were very impressed with them compared to Fish People (who I'm not bothering with any more).

paws is a great shop, the staff know what there talking about, if they havn`t got what your after they`l show you other stuff, or tell you where you can get it localy, there fish are usualy in good helath and they can really help with water chemistry, there ACE

I completely agree I've only been the once (having phoned them as a complete stranger and they offered to reserve the Royal for us anyway) and their tanks were immaculate, the range was good, the prices were great and the staff were lovely. I on't think i'll bother with Fish People if I can help it now, everything's gone downhill.

yeah I know, but I was really surprised and pleased with them.

they're on York Rd, have you tried QSS in Bradford, Tingley Tropicals on the A650 or The Koi place in Brighouse, all of them are well worth a visit
