My stocking is a little high at the moment i think but the cons are slowly moving out and by the time everyone does there growing it should be right. :)

thanx and no but ill go check em out now.

Lovely. I like how you stacked the stones at the right. How are the SDs getting along with your plants? I hear they're pretty much at the top of the plant-eaters list.

Thanx. i was originally building it to have loads of caves but it kinda jus turned into a pile with only one entrance and exit lol but the fish love it, even my 6" oscar dissapears in there and my BGK went in there about a month ago never to be seen again lol.

The SD's arent any worse than the sev, they only seem to peck at the plants. the big one on the left is a massive amazon sword that was really healthy till it went in there......

I was gonna ask where they were, are you keeping the balas? I think the tank will look a bit better once a few fish have gane. I love your clown loaches and your silver dollers.

i dont kno what to do with them.

they dont seem to grow much so i think they might be in trouble of getting picked on soon anyway.

anyone kno how fast there meant to grow?

all the fish arent normally to the front and out and about like in the photos, i jus took them a few mins after lights on and before feeding but i do agree that i could lose a couple more convicts atleast.

Someones taking 2 pairs of me hopefully this weekend so that should about do it.

what lfs do you use sam? just notices your up our neck of the woods

I really wanna see your oscar come on hercules.

when he stops bein moody ill get some pics.

mostly fish people in keighley but i go to splash aquatics in skipton and a garden centre in otley that has a pretty good fish section.

what about you?

do you kno if tong garden centre is any good?

tong used to be good, gone right downhill now though

tong used to be OK but its gone well down hill over the past few months, seems like new management as half the staff have changed/gone and the fish section has all been moved and changed and there`s loads of dead fish in the tanks ect...

we go to paws for thought on york road near the city centre, qss in bradford (wakefield road) and we`ve just discoverd a nice one in brighouse aswell

doh.

i really wanna go somewhere that has more than tetras and guppys and maybe 1 oscar crammed in a tiny tank.

living world or whatevr its called in leeds has an awesome selection but apparently there crap at taking care of the fish.

ive only been once so i cant judge but they do have the best selection ive seen.

don't start me on living death, they're attrocious, I could rant all day but I'll hold back, don't shop there though

we nicknamed it "living death" its has the best selection of dead fish i`ve ever seen

never ever ever go shopping there, our lass got some fish from there and they brought some disease with them and killed everything in the tank.
try paws for thought they have a great selection from normal guppies and live bearers to various chiclids and a nice marine section aswell as huge amounta of plants

or if you don't mind a little trip and you like chiclids go to maidenhead aquatics in york :)
