length (inches) x width(inches) x height (inches) then divide the answer by 231 for the us gallons. bare in mind that it contains 125 gallons of air so tank in acout the height of the water line and how deep the gravel is...
my balas are 9 inches and are in a 4ft tank thats why ive got a 6ft tank.im fed up them bashing their noses they just dont stop swimming til they hit the glass!they will love their new home though. so will the clown loaches that are going with them
I would love to have more Bala sharks I think they are gorgeous! but unfortunately ours was getting just a bit big for our tank with the other fish that we have! he was called Houdini cause kept jumping out of tanks during water changes!
our sharks are called Charlie,Lola and Archie.so named by my nearly5 year old daughter.
she names every fish in the tank!we even have a corydoras called flowerpot
yes sharks are brilliant but they do jump well dont they.they are so nice natured and gentle giants.I waited 3 years to get mine as I wanted to get a tank big enough, hence the 4ft and now the 6 ft.hubby says its a penthouse for sharks!
lovely looking bala's.
i have 4 myself but not as large as yours.
mine are in a 165litre tank and when they outgrow it that will be my perfect excuse to get a bigger tank!!
