New Parrot Fish

I have two baby blood parrots that were dark when purchased.. one of them took about 4 months longer to change color. They both turned out more yellow then orange... but the orange is still comming though more and more. I was worried and thought the one little guy would never change color.lol

ya that does work.. also the first baby that was dark .. accidently ate the first batch of baby sworldtails .. after she ate a few of those her color came right out a week later. (only able to save 17 babies).... she would swim into the net after the baby swordtails while trying to net them.

First, fish generally don't get lonely. Aggression is usually a sign of territoriality and often is a sign that a fish is doing very well, i.e., the opposite of something being wrong.

It may not have been overfeeding that killed the diamond shark, it easily could have been the parrot fish. As they get older, they get substantially more territorial and more aggressive as a result.

That parrot is a beauty! Look at my pic of my blood parrot pair. They just spawned for the first time! These two have always been the deep orange color. I do have a couple that are peachy looking too.
