I should have clicked on a leaking tank bought new, it took quite a few years of hard use for that 10 gallon to leak.

I've also bought tanks knowing they leak, or gotten cracked ones for free. Cracked tanks are spare parts, a 60 year old 5 foot slate bottom tank is going to leak. I've got a few tanks running that for some reason people were throwing out, there is no problem with them.

Out of around 50 tanks, with 28 running atm, 2/3 are used. A couple used ones have a slight rim leak if you fill them completely level to the top, but have no problem with the water level 1/2" low. They are both running, with fish.

You might want to fix the poll. Add a option for you had a tank(s) given to you, and not all tanks crack, so put a un-cracked tank option.

3ft wooden stand tank bought second hand and no leaks
3ft and deep aqua one tank on black stand bought brand new and no leaks. It has curved glass on the front so no leaks there.

couldnt choose the no leaks option..
but i have scond hand and new, the larger tanks are all second hand, and ive always been satisfied that i had a bargain , people buy new tanks there fish all die and see the tanks for a fraction of the cost ( sad but true)

I was given mine. It originally belonged to my fiance's dad but he gave it to me.

Both of my tanks currently running are used, have had no problems with either.

sorry about the voting problem, cant see why! but added an no leak section, to see if that any better. if not ill have the thread removed.
