New little cave ^.^

I just finished this cave for my guppies. I really like it and for a first time DIYer I think I did pretty good! I used the same gravel as the kinda i have in my aquarium right now so everything should blend together well.

Yes it does feel good to do something my self!!!

Fix the gravel? Well i used regualr aquarium silicone to put it on if thats what your asking lol.

The materials I used was..a plastic flower pot which i cut in half, plastic plants, plastic plant leaves, and some gravel from my tank. I sealed it all with aquarium silicone.

I put it in last night and my fish seem to really like it!! ^.^ They look a little afraid of it though and havnt really explored it yet.

No problem . I enjoy making stuff and doing stuff with my hands..and my fish make me happy so.. it was just agood day when i made it and im glad i can be sharing the diy love!!

Yes I sort of had your cave in mind when i was drawing out plans for mine. I really liked yours so i sort of used it as a guidline to make mine thanks for the idea !! As you can see it really worked for me . My new Dwarf Gouramis really like it!!

i find my fish were a little wary @ first now there is always 1 or 2 in all the time )

Sweet! When i first put mine in the guppies were afraid of it lol. But now they eat the algae off of it and swim through the plants so I think they like it!

When i first put the Gouramis in yesterday one of them shot right out of the bag and swam into the cave. It did my heart good to see that .

That looks great! I was going to do something very similar tonight. I bought some plants and was going to use the same kind of gravel that is in my tank and when I got home I realized I bought the wrong kind of silicone. It said on the tube that it's not safe for aquarium use. I'm going to buy the right kind of silicone and make my own base for the silk plants I bought. I heard that silk plants are o.k. to use in an aquarium. If I'm wrong, please let me know!
