New little cave ^.^

thanks!! I'm not sure if silk is okay :blink: . I'm assuming it is but then again im not the most experienced DIYer :p so you may wanna start your own topic asking that. I'm sure you'd get an answer :thumbs: .

Your cave sounds like it would look interesting!!! If you can you should post a picture..it would be grand to see it!! :nod: :nod:

I'm assuming you can o.o..you may wanna stick it in boiling water and stuff to make sure all the germs get off. If you cut the sides, try sanding it down so that the fish wont hurt themselves on it..thats what i had to do to mine. But you should be able to!! I bet it would be a cool looking cave!! :thumbs:

Copy paste

if you are gluing to them ya thats a great Idea. For quick caves in a sick tank the pvc is nice because its black and it sinks.

If you are using bottles I would suggest leaving a line of sylicon glue around the cut edges...as that stuff can be sharp!!!

also you want to be sure to get all the glue from the lable off.

as far as using the bottles for growing crud in ... heck ya right on.
/////////////////////

the glue often says unfit for aquariums or says nothing about aquariums even if thats what lots of folks use it for...
They dont want legal issues...
unfortunatly that means we have to buy "aquarium glue" which is just the same stuff as in the normal glue bottles at an insuracnced premium price ;p

search for dyi aquarium glue ect... there must be some posts out somewhere with a brand name or two that work... post if you find anything.
