I don't mind saying that was a pain in the back-side but it's done!

I think you've just about got there! Keep up the good work!

Thanks. I think I'm going to leave it as is for a while and see how it settles out.

It'd be easier just to heap them all in one massive column! I was just teasing with the top 5. New Zealand is 2nd. ( jokes ) as for the Aussie section, we are all so spread out and no one would be bothered sending plants and stufff to people hundreds of km ( for americans this is a unit of measure ment ) away.

Good to see you've renoved the ' period ' and now RCA can sleep again. As for me I reckon the current layout is perfect. :). Then again I don't use the classified section so that part might still be ...... Bad.

I did remove the period and while I was at it I made sure each main title had an ampersand instead of the word and just to maintain the consistency. Thanks to everyone for your help and input!

Shrimp and other freshwater invertebrates
Talk about shrimps, snails, copepods, WORMS and clams

Are worms invertebrates? Just said this to be annoying btw

I shake my head at you!

Just a thought, we have a section on the front page that shows the newest threads and you can see who posted on each of the top forums last, but what about a section just below the newest threads bit to have the last 10 posts?

Might make it easier than scrolling/clicking around the sub forums?

Just a thought! :)

The ideal solution is to have a form that gets filled out but that's not a built-in function. I will explore what is possible along those lines for the future but in the mean time I think the above will clean it up for now.

Cool thanks ;)

An idea I had was to have a Glossary of Terms in the bottom part of the forum.  This way we could put in key terms and people can add info.,/knowledge known about them, plus we can use T.L.A's more readily, and if people need to know what they mean they can go to the Glossary.  For example

TITLE =
I.A.L. = Indian Almond Leaves

Used for Bettas and other fish that like brackish water ....

TITLE
M.T.S. = Multiple Tank Syndrome

Highly contagious, and many on this forum will suffer from this condition ;)

TITLE
R.N.T. - Rummy Nose Tetra

Blah, blah about this fish ...

etc, etc,

what do you all think?

We've got that already, if you notice LFS gets underlined, and when you hover your mouse over it, a definition appears.

Ha, thanks, I never knew that, how does it get populated?

Lets see if these work too...

IAL

MTS

RNT

Nope they didn't, so how does it work?

I dunno, but I'm guessing it's another job for Chad.....

LFS
NTD
BNP
OMG
KFC
AFL
USA
NRL

We need to add to our glossary of terms. And yes, I did just type the first 8 acronyms I thought of.
