digi run, I'll get some new shots of her soon. I tried today but unfortunately my camera shines a red light before it shoots and she does not dig that at all.

canuck~ I noticed that right away when I bid on her. I thought the same thing about her being hurt, possibly in a juvie tank with the breeder,but on closer inspection I am pretty certain that is just her marking. I expect her to marble white as she ages. I see some black too, she might turn out tri-colored

How long ago was the first picture....he or she looks really nice....I recently purchase a 2 incher....he's on a 10 gallon tank for now(don't worry I'm looking for a bigger tank for him)...How fast do red devil grows......good job on raising her/him....

The first pic was about a year and eight months ago, she was barely two or three inches then. Now she's closer to eight or nine inches. I kept her in a 20 for a couple of months, just until I could rearrange and move her to a 55. Now she's on her way to needing a hundred gallon. Soon, not yet though. She's still fairly content and appropriate for the 55.
She hasn't hit the mean stage yet. Or she just has a calmer, more skittish disposition than the midas. I wish my pictures really captured how beautiful her eyes are, but the flash made them look...hollow.
