Well i thought about it and now its all gone.

Do you just take a lot for granted? Or are you perhaps blissfully unaware that some places only allow cool signatures for paying members?Some places allow a free trial membership and then ask for money to offset the expense of operating the site.(Yup...all this stuff costs money.)

For example,Delphi has many forums and various membership levels.The basic(free)membership pretty much only allows you to read and post.No animated smilies,no gifs,no pics...nothing.To get more you have to pay.Last I checked it was around 15 bucks a month to upgrade.For all I know,they might not even have a free membership anymore

Here we have a really cool site with a lot of fun people who know a lot about fish.Tons of great info available.General Talk and chat too,for when you just wanna have a bit of conversation.And some pretty cool signature and profile options just to make it a bit more interesting.

All this for how much?

Think about that for a minute...k?

How many of the members who complain about the rules are actually paying to support the site?

It might turn out that I'm in the minority but it hasn't cost me anything to have all this great stuff.In fact...it seems all that is asked is a bit of common courtesy and respect.Just a willingness not to abuse the priveledge of hanging out here.That's it.

Taking all that into account,it seems pretty amazing that someone would complain.Thanks seem more in order.


And just in case William or any of the mods are actually still reading my rant....

Puffer Freak stop trying to hang on to your signature and change it to fit inside the new rules please, its too big and has to go. Choose what parts you want to keep and delete the rest, if not come monday 8th November it will be deleted completely.

Is the allowable size of a siggy pic really 400wx300h? That 300h is WAY bigger than 5 lines of standard size text. I've got 5 lines plus a space and it's maybe half the size of a 300 pixel tall image.....

I would not even have noticed your signature had it not been accompanied by these remarks which clearly ARE aimed at the forums team.

IMHO it's very childish to come here and make comments like that,expecting simply to disregard the decisions of the site owner and the mods.And if you will make such remarks,don't be surprised when others tell you what they think of it

As I already stated,I only noticed your signature because of your rude remarks.That's what I was commenting on.The signature in itself had nothing to do with my response.I've said what I thought of it and have no further interest in discussing the issue.Have a great day
