the new fluval fx5 monster or 3 xp3 filstars

the xp3s are 100 a piece times 3 equals 300
the fluval cost 250

im getting the fluval fx5 good filters and also im getting it for £125 brand new do you really want 3 lots of filter pipes going in to your set up.

I am gettin it for 250 us dollars shipped to my house. which one will filter my aquarium the best.

well 3 will always be better than 1 as if one breaks you have a back up but the down side is all that filter piping in your tank i would go with the fx5 mate.

i think i will try to connect all of the lines in to one in and one out

i understand threes is better thanone in case one breaks down. but which one is gone do a better filter job

i ahve decided to go all out i am going to get two fx5's

If you are plumbing in the money for two Fx5a, you could almost certainly do a far more efficient, and cheaper to run, sump and wet/dry system.

Would be far better than the FX5 (which is far too full of sponges and crap IMO) and increase the tank volume for added stability, not to mention give the ability to hide the heaters and other ugly stuff you need on a tank.
