New Fishie - Need Names Please! :)

went to have a look at the pet store, and they have just started selling plakats and halfmoons!!! i was so excited so i bought this little fella. He didn't show much colouring and his water was very dirty. He was $23 and i am very happy with him.
i was thinking what kind of shrimps can i add with him

Littlefoot. His coloring reminds me of the young longneck from Land Before Time.

nice fish but isnt 23 dollars a bit overated for that fish. in the uk we wouldnt pay more than 10 quid for one like that

He is absolutely stunning! Lovely colouration on him.
The length of the ventral, anal and dorsal fins are a good indication of sex- even short finned or young males generally have a different fin shape to females

Thanks guys, but i think i'm naming him Klaus! I just really like that name, also because its in vampire dairies

$23 might be expensive to some people, but in some parts of the world halfmoons are pretty pricey. My LFS has mustard gas halfmoons for around $50 because there aren't many exotic breeders here, whereas when I bred Betta I would import mustard gas HMs from Thailand from show winning bloodlines for only $25-30 (including shipping) because they're so much more common there. It gets worse - elephant ears are around $100. They have some beautiful fish but if I want a real beauty I'll probably import it rather than paying LFS inflation.
