For what seems the longest time I've been wanting to get a group of genuine C. trilineatus. I'd look every time I went to an lfs but never had very good luck. I would see corys that were other look-alike species and some were quite nice. I bought C102s and another species that Coryologist identified as either C. leopardus or C128. And I'm sure I've seen some trilineatus in the stores but when I did they were too small, or looked sickly, or picked over. They weren't ones I wanted for my tanks.
Harlequins posted so frequently about hers that I really got to wanting them. It seemed everyone had them but me. Finally, Coryologist offered some of his at auction and I could not pass the opportunity up. Now I am convinced that I have healthy fish who are not fake juliis, look-alike fish, or hard to identify species.
Here they are: the real thing from Coryologist.
And here they are, all lined up for us to admire them.
Aren't they nice?
