That's where the confusion comes in (especially as far as betta comps go), the contest IS supposed to judge the fish. Which fish is the nicest? Not which member takes better photos...

IMO who took the pic dosent really matter.It is still the same fish and as long as it looks like the same fish on the other pics SRC can be proved the owner.Whos to say the other entries haent been photoshopped?
i though this was more a fish comp than a photography comp
but i like wuvs suggestion about the amature and professional sections.

for starters if you lot want to argue go somewhere else and stop ruining threads, this is ment to be fun not an election(even though a betta might do a better job)

As far as i'm concerned you can use your breeders photos as long as you have their permission, you forked out all the money for the fish in the first place so why not use the best picture you have. If other people don't agree then don't vote, i'm sorry if this offends anybody but if i start giving in to all your moans and groans we ain't going to get anywhere.

Alright...I said I wasn't but since you asked me too I will. But this is the last one for me.

This is my blue/black HM Hia. I also had his twin brother Jae, but unfortunately he died a month or so ago, while I was sick, from a rather bad case of fin rot.

This is his Ab pic

He's 6 months old in the Ab pic...so his fins are rather stumpy IMO, but I thought he was pretty so I bought him anyways lol. His fins have since grown longer and are much prettier (if his silly butt would flare..not even a girlie will provoke this one into a flare. He is a very lazy/laid back fish evidently). I've had him since March of this year..if I'm not mistaken (I'm not at work now so I can't check my calendar..I mark ti when I get them lol), so he's about 9 months old.

Well, I've decided to enter my girlie Pearl.... she's not spectacular but as much as I love Jerry, he is a red VT and Pearl's colours are a bit more interesting. I love them the same though. Anyway.... here's a pic of little Pearl showing the date:

And her judging pic. BTW, the algae on the wheel isn't real... it's painted on I like this pic because it shows her real colours and it looks like she's reading the info on the heater.

LOL exactly! She loves her heater. She loves the thermometer too... here's a pic I LOVE... it looks like she's checking the temperature. Or maybe I'm so obsessed with my fish, anything they do looks adorable.
