well iv heard a lot of different things i mean when they get moved into the bigger tank then its got 2 externals so wc's might be 25-30% a week

and ye get that 240 ready mate you wont regret it

Me to, when you move them don't forget pics as you get more and progress

I think i need to mate, i really do like them.

will do im gonna end up with 6-8 in my tank with 20-30 rummynose,pair of bolivian rams and 12 or so corys

That will look great mate when you planning on adding them to the other tank?

as soon as i can shift on my other fish that are in there now and get the water similar to the tank they are in now so maybe a week or 2 as the 45gal is just too small for em

im gonna do 2x 25% changes a week and tap water as its around neutral in my area so i have added wood in just to soften it that little more

Ive seen a lot of people doing WChanges every 2 to 4 days not sure if that's necessary though? I need to get the 240 sorted then i think

It is for growing out discus if they are 2"or young. You need to feed them 3 times a day and so you need more WC.

I will do mate, its currently a community tank so it needs to be changed over and everything etc..

iv heard of doing 50% wc daily but iv heard that can be more detrimental to the fish as it is constantly changing the environment and also stability of water is affected i have been doing 25% twice a week and feeding 3-4 times a day and they all have little bellies and test my water every other day and ph is 6.6, ammo 0, nitrite 0, nitrates are at less than 5ppm or is there something im missing about the benefits of 50% wc daily ?
