This is one without the flash which shows his proper colours. As you can see he's more purple (not at all blue!!) and is a darker pink:

Here he was considering whther to eat the 'sand' in his tank! He seems amazed by the bits in it

He is so pretty. I have one that looks almost like him, only without the purple. I wish I could get such quality pics. Any suggestions?

Suggestions on getting good pics? Unfortunately those are the best of about 50! It does depend on the camera though i think. Its almost impossible to get fish pics in focus without a macro setting. I use flash with mine as it focuses better, but i know some people dont. I also try to aim the camera down towards the bottom of the tank as it means you dont get the flash glare right over the fish you're taking a picture of!
