Hey,

Thought i'd let you guys know that i got my first CT today! I was at Shirley Aquatics near Birmingham looking for live rock for my marine tank and i noticed all their bettas  They had about 50 of them all in bags - It was like Christmas!! Anyway, i picked a pink and purple one that is SO cute! He's in a four gallon tank at the moment. I've put a pic of him in the tank but i didn't want to stres him so haven't got any close ups of him. You can just see him in the tank! If anyone wants to see some better pics of him i can add some later when he's settled in more :)

Hey Jessica,
He's Lovley,
You say they Have 50 in, I was thinking of Going After Work on Monday. That is If I dont Get Lost Again and end up in Solihull City Centre.

He's gorgeous! What a nice addition to your family.

There must be some major crowntail breeding going on. My lfs had a ton of beautiful new crowntails this week too. I'd never seen any in person before. I got two, I couldn't resist.

He's lovely.

Gill - It would definately be worth having a look :) They had loads in (all CTs) and although it was very busy today i wouldn't imagine they'd have sold them all! There was another stunning little steel boy which i nearly bought instead but this one just caught my eye!

Here's some close up pics! Not great quality, sorry!!

He's just eaten some bloodworms and seems very happy in his new home :)

What a gorgeous boy! Good luck with him. It's so exciting to get a new fish.
*sighs* (because I have no room at the moment and am envious!) :(

I am So Going there Tommorrow after work - Oh Well, there goes the Overtime Money.

PS Any Pointers on How Not to get lost - I Can Never find Shirleys On the first Attempt. Those Junctions always Confuse me on the M40.

I Always end up @ the Bike Museum, the find myself in the city centre.

Thanks everyone!

He is beautiful! He's settled in really well, he's had some bloodworm and brine shrimp for breakfast and loved it!! :D

Gill - I only know the way off the motorway! I come from Tewkesbury so i just come off at the Junction for Shirley and keep going straight! I know you go past a Garden Centre on the right and a roundabout (go straight over) and its just past that on the right. You have to go to the second roundabout to get to the shop though as you cant get across the road! Its annoying!! Im terrible with directions though! If you go slowly and keep looking for it you should be fine! :D

Oooh, and their bettas are a bargain! £3.50 for male bettas!!!
