I remember now you saying your Sterbai were spawning. Were you able to raise those fry?? I can't get mine to spawn. They just point blank refuse. They do the jiggy dance, but nothing ever comes of it. And I find it very difficult to sex them. You think one is female, then not too sure. they're about 2-2.5 inches now, had them nearly a year.
Yeah, I think they must have been albolineatus that I saw yesterday. Very cute little things.
Aaw, I can just imagine what albino sterbai and schwartzi fry would look like. They'd be too cute. Good luck with those breeding projects.
Your camera sounds expensive. Is it a belated Christmas pressie?? I got an Olympus SP510 last October, took me a while to get good pics with it. They are so complicated now. Problem is, it's so chunky the fish see it coming and swim away.

what sort of temp are you keeping your sterbai in at the moment? it took mine a fare while to spawn. I ended up upping the temp to 29degree and then doing cold water changes twice aday and they just went beserk.
I have raised many of the fry and sold some on, and i currently have about 10 in one of my discus tank. they love it
I have needed a new cam for some time. the one i had was only a 2MP that i got about 100,000 years ago. I was going to get a Canon Ixus 65, but someone on another forum i go advertised this one, and i asked a friend (who is a camera geek) what he thought of it and his excat words were
" IF YOU DONT BUY IT AT THAT PRICE, GIMMIE HIS DETAILS AND I WILL BUY IT!"
