Are those others haroldshultzi??

Great pics.

Yippee, I got it right :hooray:

Have you been able to get any pics of the albolineatus yet?? Oh, and of course the others that you got too. It's just that I saw a cory at that garden center yesterday, and they had one that looks a bit like the albolineatus. Of course, I was too excited about the albino Sterbai to pay attention to what the other cories were called.

Ok guys. heres the rest of the pics i managed to take before the batteries went dead LOL. REALLY pleased with the camera, been playing with it all day... and the camera

Very nice! My C. duplicarus are still quite young and Im waiting on them to get big. I hope to add to my school of 5 soon :good:

Im going to show my ignorance here as I know very little about cory but I love those in the second last pic. The big gold ones under the filter with the black stripe, what are they?

Beautiful corys by the way, some ive never seen before.

the one side on is a C.narcissus, the other 4 are super arcuatus. They look VERY similiar in body, but the narc's have a long nose. I need to get some better pics of them. Will try tomorrow once the batteries have recharged and post them up for you. they love to hang out together though. I have 4 SA and 1 narc. I lost 3 narcs to a bacterial infection, but i have another 2 on their way :)

STUNNING!! But I still can't tell from your pics if the albolineatus are what I saw yesterday. Do they have very fine spots, and no other patterning??

Oohh!! Those Albino Sterbai are incredible. They are so huge. I WANT!!

Look forward to all the spawning diaries I'm sure you'll be posting soon.

Out of all your cories, what have you been able to spawn and raise??

Gorgeous pics, oh yes, what camera do you have??

Carmen ;)

Thanks Sibelius and baracuda :)

your description of the albolineatus sounds about right. however here are some better pics taken by other people...

http://www.nettaigyo.com/corydoras/encyc/c...bolineatus.html

The albino sterbai look bigger than they are. they are about 1.5"+ at the moment.

As for spawning.. .the only ones i have spawned so far are the C.aeneus albino and bronze, C.paletus pepper, C.adolfoi, C.sterbai. When the fish house is up and running there will (hopefully) be many more added to that. My next breeding projects are going to be albino sterbai and C.schwartzi

My camera now is Fuji S9500. Its a beauty !!

I remember now you saying your Sterbai were spawning. Were you able to raise those fry?? I can't get mine to spawn. They just point blank refuse. They do the jiggy dance, but nothing ever comes of it. And I find it very difficult to sex them. You think one is female, then not too sure. they're about 2-2.5 inches now, had them nearly a year.

Yeah, I think they must have been albolineatus that I saw yesterday. Very cute little things.

Aaw, I can just imagine what albino sterbai and schwartzi fry would look like. They'd be too cute. Good luck with those breeding projects.

Your camera sounds expensive. Is it a belated Christmas pressie?? I got an Olympus SP510 last October, took me a while to get good pics with it. They are so complicated now. Problem is, it's so chunky the fish see it coming and swim away  .

Well, once again, gorgeous cories, I'm very jealous.

Speak soon
Carmen :D
