New Chapters - Seth The Boxer

Welllll, we'll see how things go. He's a foster for now, but I'm already smitten.

He's had a great night here. He's got a touch of separation anxiety so although we were wanting to be cautious and separate Dharma and him on the first few nights, he was straight in bed with her snuggling up last night and that's where he stayed.

He shares a talent with Grace the cat in that he can open doors, and this is what he does when he's left alone even for a few seconds. We'll have to work on that, but he soon settled when he was put to bed with Dharma and has been very good through the night - no accidents and no destruction. :hyper:

More pics :D

Chillin'. :D

LOL Lisa, nice try!

Donna - not sure how old he is, somewhere between 7 and 9 has been said. He looks about the same as Ruby did towards the end grey wise, and she was 7 when she died, so I'd like to think he's got a fair bit left in him!

what a pair of beauties! love the way he lies that's so cute :D

so glad they're getting on well and are happy :D

He is gorgeous kathy and Looks so at Home
Oops sorry he looks so relaxed in his Foster Home
The Number of times i have said Its just a foster

LOL Graham - I'm trying to be responsible and wait and see his true colours when he settles in! Looks like we're going to get some time to do that though as he has kennel cough and has to wait at least a week for his jabs and checkup according to the vet nurse today.

Bit of an update - Seth is pretty poorly today, his kennel cough has got worse and the vets want to see him in the morning. He's really very under the weather bless him :(

He truly is a gorgeous boy. He looks so lovely there with Darma. Home he feels better soon. Poor thing. :flowers:

Morning chaps and chapettes. Bit of an update for you.

Seth is well and truly over the KC now, and the day before yesterday he went in for surgery to remove his big lump on his neck (and two even bigger lumps from between his legs *lmao*).

He absolutely loved the other dogs at the vets, so muh so he tried to get in a couple of sneaky "encounters" before they came off (and he wasn't fussy either - two of his love interests were young, handsome, fluffy male collies). Please take a moment to have a silent commemoration to his love tackle.

He had blood tests done, which have all come back normal, which is *fantastic*. The lump turned out to be a very large skin tag - so not cancerous in any way! The only long term problem he has is a mouthful of epulis (gum tumours) which will have to be looked at again down the line and possibly removed. His teeth are a bit manky too, but not majorly so.

Anyhoo, he's recovering at home now, and this morning he's nearly back to normal energy wise.
