New Betta

I know I should have a "mourning period" for my betta, but I can not stand an empty tank even if I can't see it. So today, I went to the HarMar Petstore to get a new betta, I thought they would just have the usual, a few cambodians, some reds, some multi colors, some grays and some purple, but then, I saw a yellow round tail PK, so I bought him, at $6.00. Here's a picy of him, it's not the best, as I took it in dim lighting.

I know all about haveing an empty tank and i'm with you it takes time to get over a lost fish but it's just as bad if you have a tank with no fish in it.

He's beautiful. I know how you feel about an empty tank. I could never not have at least one... or two.... or five... or ten.

Thnx, although I could've gotten a white/ brown betta. It was such a hard desicion.

Funny, I was at HarMar last night, looking at SW fish and LR. (Their LR is cheaper than petco's!)
I didn't see any bettas that cought my aatention, besides some cool lookin' CT's.
I'm at my friends house right now, and he lives about 3 blocks from HarMar..

You really have to move around the jars to see the good ones, they keep the good ones in the far back. I'm gonna ask if they have any in the back next time.

So nice! I love your new betta. I'm having a eager urge for white bettas right now. But I cant find any. The only one at my LFS has one that looks like its been eaten and spit right out. Its so sad ... Its like 10bucks. I can't believe it. I wanted to save him... But I just dont have the cash. This sucks ... Anyways congrads on your new addition.

$10 is a little much for a sick betta, and unless your super dedicated, I'd wouldn't ever.
I get the worst looking ones at walmart, but they're not always that bad.
I have 2 empty 1Gs right now, and I dont think I want to keep saving bettas.
But who knows, VT's might just be my thing

I like variety... I wish I had anything else instead of VT'S but my vt's are still the prettiest thing in the world. But I'm going to try getting a CT. Its my destiny ... ... But yeah you have 2x 1gallons I must steal them from your home. Muhahahahahaha ... ... JK ... or am I?

I hate how I never get to see the good looking Bettas at HarMar.
Maybe its a gift all the other betta people were born with, yet I wasen't.
Maybe I'm not a true betta person?
