new betta stand

they look great freshmike!!!! just stain it, maybe a nice dark color, to set off the tanks better. you should enclose the bottom portion to hide the cords and plugs. those are tiles? looked like glass. very cool all the same. hmmmm, gives me some ideas. i have some questions but i'll to pm you.
about those azoo tanks, was considering them, since they actually have filter and lights for my bettas. do you have problems with jumpers at all? some bettas like to jump out of open containers, just curious.

That's too cool Mike (or whoever you are :p  )! I could use a couple of new bookshelves.... feel like heading west? :D

wow! neat little tanks there, when i saw the Azoo question in Tropical Chit Chat i thought they meant those ridiculous closed gallon 'ecosystems' with three teeny schooling fish in them.

that's much better than my mental image =)

i've seen quart tanks that look EXACTLY like that, save the filter and the neat little light.

know any online stores that sell them and ship to canada =)

try www.petco.com (they call them Red Sea Candy AquaVase Combos, $29.99 US dollars, though i don't know if they ship to canada or how that price will differ for you...............)

I have NEVER had a betta jump.....never. Thank goodness! ;)

I've got two of those same tanks and they are pretty good. It can be a pain to get the filter to line up exactly right in the beginning, but otherwise they are easy to take care of. The light is a very nice color, but provides no heat, whatsoever.

I particularly like the sand or fine gravel you have put in yours. My sister has a lot of marble-glass balls and rocks that I find too reflective and distracting... far less relaxed than your tank! In fact, yours look like tiny little lagoons fit for a holiday.

very nice. B)
