Hey guys i have NEVER been so proud of my tank, since ive had it the arrangement and assortment of fish has never been so GREAT! :D I am so proud of it and also what matters is that my fish love it too.

All i did was i was just thinking of why my tank looks so bad and i realised all i done was add two bits of bogwood that took up most of the space and didnt levae much territory for the fish to hide amongst and frolic basically... So my solution was get some nice looking bit of slate, quite a selection, a few bits of bogwood (tiny) and of course some lovely new fresh plants and wala :D

I could stare at it for hours and just love it :D

Of course im not saying its the best tank in the whole entire world BUT from what it used to be to what it is now... is a BIG BIG BIG improvement

Here's a view of the overall tank

WoW fab ! :kewlpics:
I love your 'Synodontis Alberti'

Nice tank, are they Bolivian rams? They also look like juveniles and probably havent produced their best colour yet... Rams are great (one of my favourite fish)

Your synodontis, how big is it?

I have a Microsynodontis polli which hasnt grown in over 6 months (currently 2.5")

Dutch rams.... see picture below (fantastic) you must get a pair if you like rams...

the last pic of the bolivian looks wierd...almost like it's stunted. BTW the tank looks good..i just dont like the gravel :D

not sure if you know, but rams are prone to osteo.. their stomachs get concave and they usually dont live too long when they have it.. not sure if its possible to treat

i think i meant to say tuberculosis. rams are prone to it. concave stomach usually means tuberculosis. when my rams got it they only lasted a month before they died

it looks to me like they already have it. search around on the internet and see what you can find. i remember being told this by someone on a forum before and sure enough they died a few weeks later - unfortunately. that was the end of me keeping rams. hopefully you can find some stuff about it and keep em goin!

They could very well have TB, I agree, or they may just be very underfed. I suggest a round of internal antibiotic in the form of medicated food... it can't hurt, and is pretty much the only treatment for TB. I have a betta that has/had TB. I'm not sure if he's cured or not, but he has certainly perked up a lot after being fed medicated food

ive been reading about it, and i keep reading that humans can pick it up from the fish, so if you are cleaning the tank, you might want to wear gloves, or at least be sure you have no cuts or anything that could help with infection. also read that it is very hard to cure, but hopefully if you start early enough you might be able to save them. also read it is from poor water quality

Aesome Pics and great tank, well done

I take it your Bolivian Rams are new? Don't worry, i always buy starved fish but Brine Shimp and bloodworms fatten them straight up :)

Good Luck

DD
