Brought home this nice looking fish today, gonna let you all try to guess what it is for awhile: About 7-8 inches long at the moment, and will grow much larger!

Fish is shown with several large Green Sunfish (tank is getting redone tommorow when I bring home a pair of small largemouth bass...).

He's probably the only 8 inch black crappie I've seen in that pond, there are only 2 very small 3 inch ones that I've seen other than that, it's now in my fish tank and doing very well. Surprised it adjusted to the high ammonia water so quickly.

Fished him. Pond is so horrible its super easy to catch fish.

Nice! Watch out that he doesn't get an infection where the hook got him. I have had that happen to bluegills.
