I noticed about a day ago whenever he swims excitingly like when there's food he twirls around and spins and twists while he swims but he can't help it. I think he's injured help please what should I do? hes currently in a 10gal but thinking of moving the neons in the 50gal when they are full grown. Tank mates are 6 other neons and 3 glolights

my sick mollie is in the 50 gal along with 1 mollie,4 kissing gouramis,2 chinese algae eaters,2 serpae tetras,1 zebra danio, and 2 scissortail rasbosas.I have edited the original post to tell you what tankmates are in the 10 gal. I do a 20% water change weekly on the 10 gal. FYI i am 10 years old =P my injured neon is in 10 gal. arg... now its gills are getting red (not normal)

ok kiddo, i think your neons and glolights can handle being in the 50 gallon tank with everything else. the sick neon is probably on its way out, but to prevent spreading disease, leave the sick neon in the 10 gallon, move the others out, keep doing water changes and see if it improves.

ok but i don't know... my 2-4 inch kissers might eat them if they're too small that's why i put them in a 10 gal first. hmm... maybe a school of 9 is good enough to keep the kissers away. because one already died so i put the dead one in the 50 gal and the kissers ate it. but these are alive... i give it a try the kissers probably won't eat them

Would putting the sick one in a bowl with heated water be a possibility? I have a fish bowl sitting on the fireplace i have already put the fish in the bowl its laying on the bottom gasping on its back. should i just feed it to the kissers? like i did to the other one that didn't make it? now its swimming around with a few twirls here and there OHHH! it died at 8:24 this morning =[
