Nemo's Found!!!

No. Not until he tells us. There is nothing wrong with a nice nano, but if you are trying to hide something you know is wrong, why even start a controversy?

Amen -_-

My guess is that Chewy doesn't want to be lectured on the size of the tank seeing as the clowns seem to be doing fine.

Fine, fine. I think we all assumed so much, should we put away the pitchforks and burning stakes now? :p
I wasn't trying to be rude. Sorry :X

Couldn't agree more! You said exactly what I was thinking, if you KNOW that you'll be ridiculed for something than you obviously know that you're not doing the right thing.

Yup. Might as well spit the truth out, we all think you are being bad anyway.

Ok Ok....The reason why I didn't want to share with y'all about my marine tank is because I have seen people in this forum being rip off by the "experts" who think that the minimum size tank for any marine creature is 100 gallons! Well, I don't have so much money!! Either do I have so much room! Anyway, my clown have been doing very great and they have yet to fight....(most likely a breeding pair??)
Anyway, I can't tell female from male... but one is slightly bigger than the other...

Ps. These clowns have been living for almost a month now.....(haven't seen any fights)

-Chewy-

I am glad that you are having so much success...it is of course possible to have a s/w tank less than 100g's, we all know that from all of the nanos that have posted here already, so why be so shy about the size? Seriously. If it is bigger than a 10 and you are taking good care of it, why would we flame you?

Not you Chris....not you....what i am worried about are others which i don't wanna name any names....
Anyway, so far you guys have been very kind to me!

the bedroom tank in my sig is sold as a marine tank - thats only 35us gals...

Its very tempting to acidently buy marine gravel... and then it would HAVE to be a marine tank :p :hyper:

Not yet Russell, Not yet.

i was curious jus cause it would be so much easier to talk my parents into buying a nemo tank y'know they love the movie and i can't afford it but would take great care, so if you can give anymore info that'd be great, or pm me too that'd be cool i won't tell

today actually my girl was eyeing up one of those 12G nano cubes and wants to get one and run a tiny salt water setup with one clown.

I really think chewy is doing fine with what he has. If one is bigger chewy that is the female :) I'm about to start a 10 gallon nano tank myself with two breeding clowns and I'm not worried at all about keeping the tank up to par. I understand what chewy said about some members here discouraging small tanks for marine beginners and other issues with marine tanks. I think that's wrong to tell them not to do it, weather it be a money issue or a space issue, if you want a nano tank then do it. We should all help them to keep it up if they are determined. I will help as much as I can and if I don't know the answer then I will ask my good friend that has worked and now runs (and soon will own) my LFS for 18 years.

Hazmat :)

To many people in here will beat you over the head with outrageous tank requirements for certain fish then overstock their own tanks.

i totally agree w/u. to many ppl. think they r experts. i dont y some1 cant have some fish in small tanks when they are small but will ventually move them 2 a bugger one when they can afford it or whatever. i hate it when ppl. say oh u shouldnt have this/that in a tank so many gallons when the fish is only like 1 inch big. i know it can stunt the grwoth BUT if u are getting a bigger tank soon whats the big deal.
sorry if that doesnt make any scence.
