bravo dude bravo...good going there ..i wish the walmart near me caught some hell...maybe by your example i to will assualt my local fish torture facility...walmart and maybe ill make a diffrence although the manager seems to be a royal arse

I've wanted to do this at my local Pets at Home here in the UK, but my boyfriend has advised me against making a scene many a time. Often the employees look at you like you are just talking out of your backside. Like the time I asked them to move a cory that had been placed by himself with some quite aggressive fish. They just went "hmm yeah I suppose he must be lonely" *shrugs*, employee walks off. A week later the poor little fish is still there. So I rescued him.

Since then, though, we haven't gone back. I take my custom to reputable local non-chain fish stores, who I know care for their fish properly. Otherwise I know I'm going to get upset, and we have no more room for fish rescues.

Its great whats happened to this walmart though. Lets hope the difference remains and they keep at it.

Unfortunatly for me the most reputible pet stores around here are petco and petsmart (chain stores) The lfs's around her don't take the best care of their fish, sometimes even worse then wal*mart
