Need Help ( Perfect Tank For Discus)

They are quite stately but am finding mine are quite interesting at the moment and have settled really well. I;m enjoying the planting aspect aswell and making a tank look nice something which I haven;t done for most of my time fishkeeping

If you enjoy that then you;ll enjoy the discus
So you've mostly done marine tanks and/or freshwater tanks that are mostly fish oriented Simonas? I too have been completely shocked a few years back to discover that there is this whole planted tank thing that is almost a separate hobby. I found it so fascinating that I have been reading a lot about it, attending conferences and trying to understand the history of it some. It definately adds another dimension out there!

I'm also thinking of going planted very soon too. I'm just trying to think if I should go lowtech (low light) or hightech ( Co2)(high intensity light with timers). Just started my research on it and its facinating!

thats the one I;ve always kept oddballs and cichlids with wood and plastic plants but this year has seen me start a reef which I love and this discus tank which I;m getting into

Very impressive Simonas. Being able to do all the types of tanks takes a lot of discipline! It's quite inspiring to know there are some out there at attempt it! Hang in there!
