hi
ive got 6x2x2 tank with a lima shovelnose cat and im hoping on gettin another one
but its in scotland aberdeen, and im in leeds and i have no transport to go up there,
does anyone know what would be the safest way to get the fish to leeds,
its 13 inch and i dont know nowt about sending fish that size by post
is there any companys what specialize in sending large fish by post transit ect
please help i want my new fish :) thanks

I am not familiar with postal services and/or messenger services in England, but I'd suggest you pack hem in a large double plastic bag with water and lots of oxygen and that bag goes then into a polystyrene box.

Try to get overnight delivery service to avoid your fish sits in this bag for a too long period.

To the best of my knowledge there is no company that transports large fish. Could be quite possibly a great idea for anyone whos looking at that business but i cant see there being a HUGE demand for that line of work. I think your best bet is packaging the sucker and overnighting him. I could also do Airport to Airport but thats quite possibly way to expensive.

Im officially lost. Amtrak as in the train company? I worked for a company that specialized in moving delicate goods. It most basically mostly furniture and antiques. My best guess if someone were to drive your fish. Put him in a large cooler with a battery powered air pump. It should work assuming its not a crazy drive.
