Hi people. I have a very small tank 12*8*8 inches. I also have a huge snail problem. I've tried the chemical method however these things are tollerent to just about anything. Is there any small loaches or fish that i can employ to eat them and control the numbers? They will be with guppies/endlers. I do a partial water change every 4 days and the nitrite and ammonium levels are practically always close to 0.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers :D

Nitrite and Ammonia levels should always be zero as they are very toxic. Some tougher fish, such as those you have can survive with traces, but it will not be doing them any good to say the least.

Classically, one suggests loaches for snail eating, but the problem here is that they really need to be kept in groups, and even the smallest will be to big for your tank.
