need a quick answer

Plexyglass Tanks can be larger than Glass tanks, but I don't think your bound to get a 30,000 gallon tank any time soon, Plexy glass will scratch, but that can be buffed out, the only real problem is clouding IMO. Glass in heavier, and will probably last longer (although after a long while you may end up with some of those horazontal lines that you see in glass windows, thats becauseglass is acctually a supercooled liquid, not a solid as most would have you believe, but I digress)

Plastic can only hold small amounts of water (that's why you don't see a 30 gallon plastic tank). Plastic also has the tendency to scrach more easily-but that can be buffed out. The only reason (that I can think of) that companies sell plastic tanks is that they are cheaper.
I would always go with glass.
acually there are 200G pastic tanks... acrylic that is, same thing ;)
