Hello all

I'm in the market for a new filter, my tank is 120 ltrs and I quite like the look of the eheim aquaball 2210 but I've never used an eheim before. Most of the fishkeepers I know are using Fluvals, can anyone advise me please? At the moment I'm using a TetraTec and it's not up to scratch at all. Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Amber.

my only experience with internal filters is the Fluval 2+ i currently have on my 14g, but I have nothing but praise for it. It's silent, easy to use, easy to clean, keeps my water parameters perfect.
Hope this helps

I have an Eheim aquaball 2212 in my Juwel rio 125. It is very quiet, easy to clean and works well. I have put substrat pro in the box at the top instead of the filter pad. You can also add more baskets to it, if the tank is tall enough. I also like the fact that it is green as it blends in much better than the black filters I have in other tanks.

I just bought a Fluval 2 + 400 Litres an hour and it's a lovely design, has a clog indicator and comes with free carbon and floss pads but also the pads are of a neat design where you can slide in a extra medium into the middle of them...handy for cycling a pad for say a betta tank or seeding a tank :good:

Thanks guys, I like the fact that the eheim is green too. My birthday is coming up so I'm gonna ask my hubby for the eheim 2210 I think. Cheers for the input.
