She failed to mention although I'm not sure it would make a difference on here.. That the gold fish in question are simple comets that were saved from a fate of being lunch.

She came in here for help and all she got was blasted... Now that's what is not right.. sorry folks!!!
SWW came in here and asked why her water was bad. It seems its bad because six messy, unsuitably housed fish are in it, sorry if I seemed rude.

your not to blame Jon. But look every post she has made on here not once has she mentioned an issue with her 2.5 gallon and yet everyone feels it necessesary to yell at her for having it...

Not once did I see anyone question the size of her Oscars (which are just babies btw), yet they feel it necessary to yell at her for having them in a 20 gallon which they are perfectly happy in at the moment till she gets her 55 set up, and when they out grow that she'll get something bigger....

I understand everyone is here to help but when you come across as a lynch mob it doesn't help at all... Think about what your typing before you type it. Think of how the person it's addressed toward may take it and then think about rephrasing it a little nicer!!

To be honest, and I am not trying to start an argument, I have just reread each post and I don't think she was blasted at all. Just sound advice untill the goldfish thing came up and yes, that was not the issue. And I agree some could rephrase the answers alittle, including myself.

I would just like to go on record here as saying that my goldfish are not the issue, nor are my 4 oscars. I stated that I know they are messy fish, and that I have a 55 gallon waiting to be set up for them when they start to outgrow the 20. I also know they will out grow thw 55, and seeinf as I work for a Pet Supply Closeout Company, and can get anything I want or need at Cost. I can get an evern larger tank in the future to make sure my oscars are house properly. I asked if anyone knew how I could clear up my water other than doing water changes. and no one addressed that issue. I have only posted two topics on this board one to say hello and this one about my water. and in both I have been slammed about my goldfish. needless to say I don't need this, I will find help for my tank elswhere. Thank you for making my time on this forum so enjoyable. NOT!!!

canarsie11 mentioned water changes in the third post and you are already doing those. The only other thing that may help is alot more filtration. I am sorry you feel the way you do.

[EDIT: This post in the newbie section? http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=73486 I see 6 welcomes with a couple mentioning reading the pinned posts :dunno: ]

Im not yelling at her it may seem to sound like it on here becase it does not show emotions unless I add them but seriously other than waterchanges and filtration nothing else would be worth bothering :D
