Just thought i would share a picture of my new look nano. Decided to change the plants around and go with a darker substrate. Also added a new tpe of crypt, but unsure of the variety.

Inhabitants are 4 Cardinals. Thinking of adding to them, but everytime i do alot of them die so i am undecided. :/

Thoughts and comments welcomed, good or bad. :good:

Nice! looks a lot better with the black substrate. Is it the proper planted stuff?

Worth a try :D
That tank looks seriously better, if I had It I would get it next to my bed.
What about some big leaved plants like amazon swords :)

There is a small one in there. I will get one this friday probably.

Oh and brad, I've already got 2 tanks in our room, this one is in my daughters room. Haha. The 2 main ones are downstairs.

Cheers, it's another of my work in progress tanks

Lol, makes me want to set my shrimp tank back up so bad! I have enough gravel in the tank that's in the front room to use in it too. And I've got 3 bits of Bogwood I haven't ever used (came with the trigon!)

Would just need to add water! Oh and buy some shrimp  ....Tempting!

nice.

Going for cherry shrimp, or spening a bit (probably a lot!) more on some of the higher 'quality' shrimp?

kesgrave aquatics on eBay sometimes has some very interesting/colourful ones. Can be pricey though, just to warn!

like this for example......would look great against that gravel!
