Nano Stock Filtration

I just started my first saltwater/nano tank. I have a 24 gallon nano, 36 lbs of live rock, and live sand. My question is what should I use in the three chamber filter? The nano comes with 2 sponges, bio beads and bio balls, and charcoal. I have heard people say that i should not use the biobeads and bio balls since I have live rock. I have no confidence in the opinions of my local fish shop. Anyone here have an opinion? thanks Nano Nation!!!!
