The water parameters for today are

Ammonia above 8 ppm
Nitrate 10 ppm
Phosphate 0.25 ppm
Calcium 450 ppm
Alkalinity 19 dKH

As with all new tanks the only thing that happens in the first week is the change in water parameters Ill look at the LFS stocking list soon and from what he has I will put togeather a CUC list on what I will put in tank

I nave been using Salifert test kits on my main tank and thought I would try them on the nano and found different results listed below I believe Salifert is better so Ill remain using them instead of thr API kit

Ammonia 1.5 ppm
Nitrate 50 ppm
Nitrite 4 ppm
Phosphate 0 ppm
Calcium 400 ppm
Alkalinity 25 dKH

Lights have been on for an hour and a half since day one and increasing daily by a half hour

The tank has being running for a week since the above pic was taken and the Salifert water tests have returned results of
Ammonia 1.5 ppm
Nitrite 4 ppm
Nitrate 100ppm

This is an update on water parameters waiting for nitrite to fall now before doing a water change then add the CUC I was thinking on adding

6 Nassarius snails
6 Astrea Turbo snails
3 Blue Knuckle hermit
3 Red leg hermit
1 Emerald crab

Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 4 ppm
Nitrate 100ppm

If you are implying large turbos by 'astrea turbos'...that is too much. Astrea's, small. would be fine. SH

Okay its been over a month since I last posted in the mean time I have done a couple of water changes and added very little stock current stock list is as follows
2 x Amphiprion ocellaris
2 x Cleaner Shrimp
4 x Red Hermit Crab
4 x Blue Hermit Crab
6 x Turbo Snails
1 x Emerald Crab
1 x Small Mushroom Coral
1 x Small Pulsing Exenia

All parameters are fine and inhibitants are doing well I am taking things really slowly so not much to see at the moment I will post some Pics soon
