Yes, again....lol!

Do males grow faster than females?

I have a gold and a chesnut. They were the same size (I think, mostly anyway) when I got them. Now the chesnut is twice as big. I'm 80-90% sure the chesnut is male. I've seen both locked together and now the gold one doesn't want to move around much at all.

I ended up putting the chesnut in with my blue gourami again but can't keep him in there long as he's getting too picked on now (as much as I think he deserves it....lol). I'm going to try doing a divider for the ten they were both in (gold is still in there) to keep them seperated so wish me luck.

If the gold is a female...would she not grow due to stress or could there be other reasons? I don't know if males got bigger or not. I didn't think so but thought I'd ask. Thanks guys! Merry Christmas!

Hm...I can try turning them upside down. Take some pictures of each maybe and post here. Could the female be stressing the male then if I got it wrong? Lol.
