i think your wife no offence to her was mightly cruel to you if she went and put that setup and all the fish and croals etc in real danger with what ever she did to the tank, i honestly dont think it was fair or even mature imho

Ammonia now reads zero. So does nitrite.

I'll do a 30% wc in a short while and then transport everything back over.

Hopefully there won't be any repercussions.

I'm thinking of putting a latch and padlock on the side of the tank and lid and seal the feeding hatch shut! Lol

Not sure tbh HD. I think it was some type of alcohol based cleaning product but I simply can't be bothered interrogating her about it.
Whatever it was, it failed in wiping out my tank. She ahem 'dosed' the tank not long before I noticed so I don't think it actually had time to circulate around the tank but it did make a mess.

I've done a slight re arrangement of some of the live rock just to block out some of the flow hitting my finger coral and torch coral but won't know if it has worked until I place them in.
I've had to have a day off work to do it so the misses owes me a days labour! Lol

As for the selling the tank, well I'm still thinking about it but dont know If I can be bothered to fart about getting it up on eBay and watching it go for a crap bid.

My bleeding nitrates are sky high at the mo. 50ppm. I like to keep my trates at 10 or below as I believe my Xenia pulse thrives on nutrients.
