My Underwater Adventure Continues

Came home to find the blenny on the floor, he jumped put of the smallest gap.

This is starting to become a bit silly. Wonder what's lined up to go wrong next.

ive had two of my fish jump out, and they were the most expensive, like my coral beauty so with my new tank im having a lid.

Ive got a lid but still I have lost a fish to jumping - routine work on the tank and out jumped my Scotts fairy wrasse!! Rarest and most expensive fish in the tank

So today we added a flame angel fish, there was abit of chasing done by the coral beauty but it seems to of settled down now.
I expected a bit of aggression but think it should be ok, here's a picture of him in the bucket

Hmmit's sticking to one corner but it's not being chased around (that I can see)
Once he is settled in I am sure he will give as good as he gets.

So I devised a way to tame the bullying, I have stuck a mirror to the side of the tank.
It hasn't fully stopped the other fish going after the flame angel but they seem to spend as much time attacking themselves as they do chasing the flame.

lol EVIL shrimp. Never heard of them doing this before and mine have never bothered anyone in the past. Like everything in the marine world though nothing is ever certain

Reading this... made me wonder. I have seen my cleaners "nip" at my turbo snails - I just thought they were trying to clean them maybe, although it looks like it annoys the turbos, at least they can kind of close up and hide.

Maybe I have some murderous cleaners

You would know by now mate, Mine ate alot of livestock. This is a very unusual thing to happen aswell.

The bullying was getting very bad with all the fish joining is so the flame angel is now in the nano untill he is big enough to bully back.
I know the tanks to small fir it but he will move when he's older.

After a few months of having problems we have decided to buy a brand new system and move the contents of the tank over, this won't be for a while but it will be happening.
The tank we will be getting is This although it will be bought from our LFS, I will be running it with the filter media supplied as it gives me a place to put rowaphos and carbon
The lighting is almost twice what mine is and after I've put my 2 aquaray strips in it should be perfect.

But as the tank is a while away (have to pull down a wall first lol) and I havnt treated myself for a while a today bought a yellow wrasse and some real funky mushies.

Mushies.
Sadly the wrasse promptly buried itself when added to the tank but when he appears I will get a pic of him aswell.

So a few nice suprise's this morning firstly the banana wrasse decided to appear

And my yellow watchman goby was sat there looking at me with his grumpy old face, I thought he was long dead
Alls good in my tank today.
